The Hermitage Log Cabin
Environment Art
This project, completed for my final master's degree, explores a location that holds personal for me. It showcases a variety of texturing techniques that enhance the visual representation of the area. Through careful study and application of these techniques, I aimed to capture the essence and unique characteristics of this beloved location. The project reflects my passion for blending artistry with technical skill in a meaningful context.

Final Outcome
While the scene could have looked a bit sharper, the project really shows how RVTs can practically applied. They work great with other techniques and can seamlessly blend objects into the landscape, making everything look better. Plus, it's cool to see different ways RVTs are used across various assets, highlighting their value in game development.
I'm really happy with how the project turned out! It was a blast putting together my assets, foliage sets, and understanding the different texturing techniques and how they work with runtime virtual texturing. I had a great time creating realistic pieces, and I’m very proud ofthe final Product.
